The stewardship and long-term care of historic properties is an important task. There are a variety of organizations and resources for property caretakers to consult in order to follow best preservation practices for many of the most common building needs.
The Division of Historical Resources (DHR) has compiled a list to provide historic property owners resources that assist with general preservation guidance, historic window rehabilitation, lead safety, and other resources that may be helpful before embarking on a preservation project.
